Can you imagine a dog with all down - his tail, his ears, even his look? Today's news which I have prepared before was completely another thing. But it looks like we can't do anything against the "Maktoub".
It's probably commonly known that we had to be four of us to get Libyan visa. The issuing of the visa has finally been authorised and as I'm writing these lines my passport is probably somewhere in the air above the Mediterranean (one hour ago I got the official photocopy of my passport with accompanying letter in Arabic - our embassy in Cairo has done a great job) and on Wednesday we should get our visas for Libya. But bad news simply didn't stop coming today. The most discouraging were the information that two of our travel buddies quit the travel due to professional reasons. So, only Peter and me are staying with the plan.
You're probably asking yurself what I will do now. Well, I have the same question in my head.
You can see Saudi Arabia in some pictures' background.

Tilen had a pleasant and successful day. This evening he and his desert ship reached Egypt, it took 3 hours and Peugeot was first to disembark. About the problems with his car I can say that it is fixed and that Tilen is getting accustomed to a new profession ;-) He will explain it better. (by Rok)
Petra, Aqaba - temperatures below zero, beach workshop
19.12.2003 | Aqaba, Jordan
In Petra, on 1000 metres above sea level, the temperature this morning dropped to chilling -0,4 degrees Centigrade. But as always even this night I enjoyed the comfortable warmth of 22 degrees, but as I was leaving petra at 6 P.M., the temperature was 3,9 degrees Centigrade again.
