I still don't know whom I should invoice - to Mr. Qadhafi or to Confederatio Helvetica. But it's a fact that due to the visa crisis between the Schengen community and Libya my truck was subject to damage, only caused by small and short Tunisian dunes.

Yesterday the camp in Douz got crouded. And we even received a brief visit of our Slovenian friends (Mišo Goriup, Andrej Drčman & Co.) that invited themselves for some tea and tea cookies (besides that they also got some shisha breaths). Today, Barbie girl from the house next to the ours woke us up.

Caravan's arrival

25.3.2010 | Douz, Tunisia

I was really happy to meet the guys. They reached the camp 10 minutes after I arrived. Photo: Robert Milič Well, this DS became quite a big enterprise, look how many vehicles it's got in the fleet. ;) Featuring Etieen, Tilen and Matevž. On Sunday they finally arrived. My Slovenian friends Robert and Etieen Milič and Matevž Hribar and brought along some useful things and goodies, among them also my mom's "strudel" which survived all the way from Slovenia to southern Tunisia.

Karl Heinz and the Surely that way? Yes!

Last week, before my friends Robert, Etieen and Matevž came to Tunisia, I took of for some dune-bashing in the south of the country with Karl-Heinz Benemsi, his dog Kali, and the Swiss Toyota drivers Gabi and Paul.
