The purpose of my visit to the SAF Driving School was to compare modern Iveco off-road trucks and their off-road performances with mine, which has so far been the only 4wd truck I drove off-piste. I also received a few answers regarding their maintenance procedures, reliability, centres of gravity, rolling moments, etc.

As the last talks suggest there will be more cooperation between DS and SAF as far as preparations for the 2011 expedition are concerned, on which visitors of this web page will be promptly informed.
