Ready for the battle

4.2.2008 | Muscat, still the same Muscat, the one in Oman

Afterparty ran in good mood... ... using improvised tools... ... and absolutly precisely.

The windscreen issue at Omani customs is getting so bizzare, that we start considering it ridiculous.

Sands, customs and company

2.2.2008 | Muscat, Oman

The desert gave me some motivation so that I can more easily endure the days of waiting Even though the guys move fast, complications appear elsewhere. The windscreen has been at the airport for a day and a half, and we are about to complete a Ph.D. on customs release.

To the sands on the KTM, departure 4.2.

31.1.2008 | Muscat, Oman

Spring leaves changed and fixed, the truck stands horizontal again Shiju and Shaji posing

I'm back again. The things moved on while I was absent. The guys did a good job, however, the vehicle is not ready yet.

It’s All al-Qaida’s Fault

24.1.2008 | Muscat, Oman

Saturday, 19 January, was a really successful day. David and I managed to do a lot around the truck and I was truly happy, even though we didn’t go diving. I even received a friendly SMS-message from one of the sponsors. When everything was completed, we left the coast and went to an Iveco servicing shop to get a speedometer cable that broke just under the meter the night before. David put on his seatbelt for the first time since he started riding with me. It was exactly 3.30 p.m.

A successful day

22.1.2008 | Muscat, Oman

Al-Munassir wreck, around 20 m deep Tilen, swimming to the stem

"David, are you going to set the wake-up alarm?" David confirmed, so we woke up half an hour late. His watch was still set to Iranian time. We missed the dive.
