The things are moving. My little house got its walls. And a roof. And AluBoMa windows. And the door. And the garage is finished. We are also about to finish the floor. A cruise control is installed (and it's working!), additional electrical wirinig on the cockpit and chassis is fixed, the ceiling has been refurbished, a reverse-camera installation is done. When I returned from my business journey it didn't stop raining, then it snowed, while the temperatures are rounding freezing point. Despite of these, we've been working hard during the last two weeks of January and I am pleased with the progress.
BASF-manufactured Styrodur insulation is next to be fixed on the walls with the aid of Sežana-based Mitol, my new sponsor, Mitopur glues. Later on cut-outs for the roof windows will be made, and as soon as this is done and a couple of dry days are forecast, the cabin goes into final painting. What follows is electrical and water-supply network installation, the two 225 Ah TAB batteries connection and testing, and final furniture incorporation.
Still, the six 14.00R20 all-terrain tyres remain a big financial issue in case no sponsor is found.
