NEW YEAR, NEW ATTITUDES

21.08.2015
I'll be falling off camels for the whole year; at least if it's true what they say – whatever you do on new year's night you'll be doing throughout the year.

It happened half past midnight near Giza pyramids as my camel was annoyed by Sandra's and started jumping like a rodeo camel. I was arranging myself to take some pictures and wasn't prepared for it, so I flew to sand in a nice curve. Wait a moment! Does it maybe mean I'll enter a pilot course??! Anyhow, it was half past eleven, 2003, back home, so maybe it was actually one of the last things I did last year? ;-))

Today was another day, the first of the 366 with the 2004 mark. And things look nicer now. I slept until noon, then visited Zoser pyramid at Saqqara and finally, with help of Said, Selma Camping Site owner, found two backstreet car workshops. Tomorrow morning, the first one will repair the notorious damages in two to three hours for some 7EUR, and the second one will change front springs and adjust the rear ones in the afternoon.

It was sunny today, warm (!!!) and I finally found a new airbed in Cairo's Carrefour!!! Namely, for the last month and a half I was waking up every two to three hours to inflate the airbed that was leaking air and I was unable to locate the hole. I know what you are thinking now – but just try to get a 400 litre air tank underwater by yourself to look for a leak, and then send me an e-mail!
