KEEPING ON

21.08.2015
The house is crossing northern Turkey

I'll be short. Mišo and Mitko, the electrician, worked on the truck at Cefin Service in Sofia till 11:45 p.m. Friday evening and solved the problem. The rotor of the alternator was burnt so I got a refurbished more powerful one, which still works. Positive energy, felt at Cefin, was incredible and is the motor which gives energy for keeping on even when the journey is not passing through the best moments.

After driving whole night long, we got to Turkish border, where Bulgarian customs officer was decided from the beginning that he won't let us cross at passenger terminal. Shift cfief, whom I woke up, meant the same. At cargo terminal there was a really nice police officer for whom it was obvious we're talking tourism, not cargo, so he and the cargo customs officer helped us cross back to the passenger terminal and let us avoid 5 hours of waiting among cargo trucks.

On Turkish side everybody was astonished first, after seeing the house, positive energy flew in again. The customs officer, a very nice person, had some chocolate at the table inside the house, then Carmen and me took off, and pass kilometres and kilometres of waiting trucks to cross to Bulgaria, left for Istanbul. But I could only drive for 90 more minutes. We stopped at 8:30.

90 min on Istanbul roundabout, crossed the Bosphorus, night shift this time only till 2 am. In Amasya at the moment, after finishing this post we keep on towards the east. We have already crossed with many Iranian trucks. :)

Thank you all for the immense moral support and positive energy we really need. Please cross your fingers for the machine. You know, it's not very young and from time to time it releases noises I really dislike..
