CLEARANCE FOR TAKE-OFF

21.08.2015
It was in the first days of June. Once done with Ghadames sightseeing, we had an early lunch before taking off for the 650 km-distant Tripoli at 20 past noon.

The ten-hours journey took us through some amazing landscape and overwhelming sites, waiting you to discover them. Also checked a couple of restaurants on the run.

The Massif was running 150 to 160 kph on the desert road. In joke, Pavle gave me clearance to take-off, but he did not pull the flaps down so we were listening all the way to Tripoli, reached by 20 past ten pm, sound similar to that of the CRJ aircrafts accelerating on the runway.
