AND YET IT GOES ON

21.08.2015
While working on the Iberian peninsula, a new cabin finally arrived from Germany on July 16th. The donor was a 4 years younger (and smaller) brother Iveco 110-17, that was obviously on service with the guys from the German army on a place where apparently they were not welcome.

The cabin floor is perforated at the front and under the right seat. The most scary are two holes through the left door that can be traced all the way through the dashboard till inside the tachometer. The bullets stopped just under the glass. Due to some differences between the Iveco 110-16 and 110-17, some alterations will have to be done. The donor also lacks winch so consecutively there is also no hole in the new bumper.

I would like to use the oportunity to thank the AFM Ažman company for the swift and on-time delivery of the cabin from Germany.

Images of the progress will be added into this post from time to time, all the way till the new release of the rolling house. A long, hot and working summer is (finally) on the horizon.
